Record-Breaking January: Premier League's Biggest Spendthrifts Unleash Insane Transfer Fees

 The 2023 January transfer window is approaching its conclusion but Premier League clubs up and down the table have made their mark.

Teams at both ends of England’s top division have been frantically recruiting players during an incredible month of spending.

Chelsea, languishing in midtable, have been the most active top-flight club, signing SEVEN first-team players for well over £200million.

Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke, Benoit Badiashile, Malo Gusto, Joao Felix, David Datro Fofana and Andrey Santos have all moved to Stamford Bridge this month.

However, they aren’t done as we understands a move for Enzo Fernandez is progressing.

Fellow big spenders Newcastle have also been active while Arsenal, Liverpool and Leeds have bulked up their squads in the winter market.

PREMIER LEAGUE DONE DEALS IN JANUARY

 The January transfer window is open and Premier League teams are busy making their moves.

It looks likely to be a busy window with teams at the top and bottom of the table expected to bolster their squads.

Cristiano Ronaldo had his Manchester United contract terminated in November and has signed a £178million-per-year deal with Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have completed the signing of Netherlands international Cody Gakpo from PSV Eindhoven in a deal which could rise to £45million.

And Chelsea have already signed six players this month including Mykhailo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk for £89m.
