BREAKING : Jurgen Klopp Liverpool boss rules out any more signings in January

Following their FA Cup exit, Jurgen Klopp has stated that Liverpool won't be adding any new players in the January transfer window.

With a 2-1 loss away to Brighton in the fourth round, the holders were eliminated from the cup, making all three of this season's meetings with the Seagulls disastrous.

In Roberto De Zerbi's first game in charge of the team, the Reds drew 3-3 with the Seagulls at home before losing 3-0 in the rematch on January 14.

Now that Brighton has defeated them once more, many of the team's problems are on full display.

Fabinho, who was fortunate to escape a red card in a late match, and captain Jordan Henderson were once more preferred to youngstar Stefan Bajcetic.

Liverpool has already completed one transaction in the winter transfer market, paying £37 million to PSV Eindhoven for Cody Gakpo, a Netherlands World Cup star.

The forward was immediately placed in the starting lineup, but he struggled against Brighton and has yet to score or record an assist for his new team in five games.
