Edin Dzeko, the Roma striker, is close to signing a two-year contract with Inter Milan after 'jetting in for his medical ahead of signing a two-year deal.'

Edin Dzeko is reportedly close to completing his transfer from Roma to Inter Milan, with the veteran striker scheduled to undergo his physical soon.

Dzeko, 35, was photographed at the airport before his departure to Milan after his club gave him the go-ahead to finalize his move to the San Siro.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the vocalist is set to fly out for final negotiations and is anticipated to sign a two-year contract.

'Greetings to the fans?' Dzeko, formerly of Manchester City, said when asked by journalists on his way to complete the transfer.
Dzeko will join their Serie A rivals today, with the final details believed to have been completed by Roma. He is expected to earn €5 million (£4.2 million) per season.

After signing from City in 2015, Dzeko had a successful tenure with the club, scoring 119 goals in 260 appearances across all competitions.

With such a strong track record, he immediately became a fan favorite, with many pleading with him not to leave for Milan recently.
